Salary differences between Men and Women

Generally women earn less than men. The salary differences m/v are 18.5% on average in the Netherlands. This is more than the EU average of 16.2% and the worldwide average of 18.4%. This is based on research by ITUC, the International Covenant of Unions, which is published in 2012. Salary differences between men and women are disappearing very slowly. The wage cap is persistent.
